Reflexive Codes is an AI product research studio.



Reflexive Codes believes that recent advancements in machine learning are fundamentally redrawing the conceptual boundaries that have traditionally shaped product development. Yet, much of the product development processes still in use today are rooted in frameworks designed for legacy technological paradigms.

To effectively adapt to the AI product paradigm, successful AI product teams should ditch static roadmaps and instead adopt an experimental mindset centered around iterative learning cycles. This shift from deterministic planning toward exploratory experimentation not only accommodates the inherent uncertainty of AI development but empowers teams to work in harmony with, rather than in opposition to, the continually evolving capabilities of the large model landscape.



We work closely with AI product teams to help them build new frameworks for experimentation, in order to fold contingency back into their systems recursively, through new vernaculars for dialogic innovation. We use design methods, ethnomethodology, and grounded theory to delineate bounded contexts for exploration, constructing ideal end-states that can be reached iteratively through empirical experimentation.
